Sigifredo focuses his practice on the regulation of electricity and natural gas, representing clients before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC). Prior to joining Wright & Talisman, Sigifredo gained valuable experience serving as an attorney advisor in the FERC Office of Administrative Law Judges. There, he advised Administrative Law Judges on hearing and settlement proceedings involving rates and practices of interstate natural gas pipelines and electric utilities. He assisted with the applicability of reactive power criteria to solar facilities and tariff increases under the Natural Gas Act and the Federal Power Act. During his time at FERC, Sigifredo also served as an energy industry analyst in the Office of Energy Market Regulation. In this capacity, he conducted a comprehensive analysis of filings and provided sound policy recommendations on complex regulatory matters to ensure consistency with pertinent regulatory principles and policies in the areas of electric rate making, generator interconnection, and transmission service.

While in law school, Sigifredo interned in the FERC Office of Administrative Law Judges. Prior to law school, he was a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps, where he provided security services to U.S. diplomatic missions worldwide and managed military supply accounts worth over $5M.
