On May 14, 2026, Wright & Talisman hosted the Energy Bar Association’s Electricity Steering Committee’s “Bring Your Own Questions About Data Centers: Bridging the Knowledge Gap Between the Technology & Energy Sectors and Across Disciplines” event.

The half-day, hybrid event brought together leaders from the technology and energy industries for a thoughtful and collaborative discussion on the challenges and opportunities created by the unprecedented energy demands driven by data centers and Artificial Intelligence.

Across three engaging panels, attendees explored:

• The intersection and divergence of the technology and energy industries’ interests during a roundtable session with open questions
• The evolving structure and demands of modern data centers during “The Hard ‘Simple’ Questions” session
• The emerging risks, rewards, regulatory considerations and industry best practices during the “Risks, Rules, Rewards, RTOs, and Regulators” session
