We are thrilled to share that Anna Fernandez has been named this year’s Champion Award recipient by the Women’s Council on Energy and the Environment (WCEE)!

Anna has shown exemplary leadership as a shareholder working across both the electric and natural gas practice areas on matters.

Prior to joining our firm, Anna held multiple leadership roles during her long tenure at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), including Senior Legal Advisor and Managing Attorney in the Energy Markets division of the Office of the General Counsel. In both roles, she had the opportunity and privilege to mentor and collaborate with dozens of attorneys in fulfillment of the agency’s mission.  Anna also served as a Legal Advisor to Commissioner Colette D. Honorable.  During her time at FERC, Anna worked on countless tariff filings and rulemakings, including Order Nos. 787 (gas-electric operational information), 809 (gas-electric scheduling coordination), and 904 (compensation for reactive power), as well as audits, investigations, and enforcement matters.
