DESCRIPTIVE BIO
Mr. Morand's practice focuses on energy regulation and general commercial matters. He represents electric and natural gas clients before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, other federal agencies, and the federal courts. This representation primarily focuses on electric tariff implementation and compliance matters. Mr. Morand's commercial practice involves drafting and advising clients on varied commercial contracts, including sales and distribution agreements, and employment, non-compete and confidentiality agreements.

EDUCATION
Mr. Morand received his law degree from The Catholic University of America in 2006 and received his undergraduate degree from Michigan State University in 1995.

Mr. Morand is a member of the Maryland Bar.  His practice is limited to matters and proceedings before federal courts and agencies.  He is admitted only in Maryland.
