Priyanka has focused her practice on representing electric, oil, and natural gas pipeline clients in a variety of regulatory, litigation, and transactional matters. Prior to joining Wright & Talisman, Priyanka served as an associate attorney at a Fortune 100 law firm’s environment and energy practice group. She advised municipal and cooperative clients, state consumer agencies, and electric cooperatives in matters before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) and federal appeal courts, as well as internal compliance matters. She has assisted municipal gas districts and joint action agencies in multiple gas prepayment transactions that issued more than $300 million in tax-exempt bonds. She gained experience working on transmission and planning notices and proceedings on behalf of trade organizations by representing consumer-owned, not-for-profit electric cooperatives, public power districts and public utility districts. Priyanka also has experience reviewing rate-setting administrative filings for FERC and comment filings for Federal Communications Commission (FCC) notices.

After law school, Priyanka served in the federal government aiding, counseling, and protecting the interests of American small businesses. As a legal analyst at an American trade interagency, she conducted reviews of section 301 retaliatory tariff exclusion requests.
